rpm's jumping! help .. scaredd
ok so yesterday i go to start my car and it takes about 6 seconds to actually start up and im like wut the ***?? anyway i didnt notice until later that when idling my rpms are jumping from 500-800 and my car shakes enough to feel it. and see my legs shake. i have no idea what this is, is it a timing problem? any1 please help?
oh also i just got 2 hi flo cats, and a mid muffler delete, could this cause a problem? this didnt start to occur until about a week after my install.

Could be a vac line leak...(yes i know its 2.8.) Best thing to do first without getting your hands dirty is to get your ecu scanned for fault codes, just because you dont have a CEL doesnt mean there arent bad things going on. Take about 10 mins. and check around under the hood to make sure all hoses are connected. MAF is a good possibility, do you have a K&N filter by chance? Sometimes they get over oiled and mess up the MAF. Check all hoses going to airbox.
ok im gonna check the MAF i already looked for any lose/disconnected hoses everything seems good. im pretty sure its the timing but im not positive after i check the MAF if thats not it im gonna take it to my garage and see wut they think. maybe iot just needs a tune up
