I have an aftermarket radio in my 2000 A4 1.8t and passed inspection fine in NJ.

Well.... except that when I went I had the faxed copy of my insurance instead of the hard copy. NJ is the only state that you can't use the faxed card from your insurance co. Why? I dunno, I'm from California.

Ok, first of all, why would changing your radio have any bearing on whether your car passes inspection? Second, easy on the caps button, no need to yell.

No choice, I would much rather stay in NorCal, but I'm in the Air Force. So when they say move, I have to move.

yeah i passed inspection just fine.. even though i shouldnt have.. I have a bad EGR valve, and that shows up when they plug the emissions into the OBDII but I reset everything with the VAG-COM and they said it all checked out great. So.. just a hint on how to cheat the emissions if your worried about it. But no the Radio has nothing to do with inspection.
