Default Ruuber floor mats for a 98 B5

Hey,
wanted to get the factory rubber floor mat set that clips into the floor board, for my 98.5 a4 2.8Q. The audi dealership claimed they didn't have any that dated back so much -only from 99 on- and weren't sure if all the b5 floor boards are the same. I ordered the 99 anyways b/c that sounded stupid. Does anybody know whether or not there is any difference between the floor boards of the b5's?

I'm also having trouble finding weather mats for the 98.5. I guess they are different, but I don't know.

I got some universal rubber mats from target for $35... sure an OEM fit would be better but they work and look ok for the price.

My 98.5 just came with a universal set. I've looked around a lot and I can't find any that say they will work for a pre-99 A4. I can't belive that three model years that don't have any available repacment mats that aren't mass produced crap. I've thought about going to a local car detail place that specializes in auto interior modifications. They work on old 50-70's cars totally reduing the entire interiors so I would think that this should be a simple deal for them. Everyone that has a pre-99 keep your eye's open and keep us posted.
