Default satellite radio without the package

Hi, i have recently purchased an 04 audi 3.0 without the bose/satellite package. I am very interested in getting sirius radio and was wondering how i can go around this without buying an ugly external antenna. Is it possible to buy any receiver and wire it to my existing antenna in the shark fin. Is this something i can get a store like bestbuy to do or would it have to be sent to audi???

Thanks for your help

Doesn't Audi offer both sirius and xm as an option? I would think you could go to the dealer and buy the reciever. It's worth just calling at least.

I have the 04 1.8T Tip with the satalite package also. If you have the fin on top....that already has all the antena satalite hardware in it. All you have to do is find where the wire runs down.

you can order the sirius or xm reciver from the dealer or you can find it on ebay pretty easy also, you just need to hook it up in the stock location, most likely all the wires will already be there and it will be a simple plug and play
