RE: Secondary Air Pump
Air-pumps are belt driven in my experience(older cars) so I'm assuming its on the belt circuit somewhere. btw why do you think its the air-pump?

RE: Secondary Air Pump
On Audis the secondary air pump is electric. I have mine in the garage, I'll take a look for the part number today.

RE: Secondary Air Pump
Some more information on your car other than you have 35% tint would be helpful in providing part numbers and diagnosing problems.
What CEL are you getting that makes you think you need a new air injector? |
RE: Secondary Air Pump
yes what are we looking at do you have a 1.8T or 2.8 the pump is located underneath the car on the passenger side all you do is take off the belly pan and it is right there

RE: Secondary Air Pump
yea that is a common one on our cars I had it not long ago myself ended up being my combi valve and the dealer told you to replace the suction jet pump if there is no crack in the l shaped hose and you can blow though the pump that is still fine
goog way to check to see if the air pump is working get someone to turn your car to the on position no start the car but have the accessories on and you get down in front of the car on the passenger side if you here a winning sound your pump is working |
