is there a program to flash/tune/fine tune your ecu yourself...a few of my scooby friends hav something they use...just wondering if there is something out there for us?

 

We've been over this before......................... There is lemiwinks, Vtune, etc. but they only work on DBW/00+ engines.\

 

SAFC's work on all turbo cars audi's, wrx's, evo's................

on the other hand, didn't he just ask ab out safc in another thread and was told it doesn't work as well as he would like, and that he should just tune it?

 

yeah it is called multiple program tune, stock for the slower days, 91 for a little faster....... so on and so forth.......

or just start writing your own code

 

I said it costs more(to do right)than a chip but can be done very well. In fact that is what all my DSM's were tuned with

 

i understand that..... but i thought that not only does he have to do the safc, but a whole bunch of other stuff, and it would cost quite a bit more than a tune....... and i didn't think there was alot of companies offering tunes for dsm cars...nor honda cars after they go turbo

 

Yes you are right BUT that was not his question. He asked if there was somthing out there he could do himself.
