Selling A4 tires and wheels

Whats the best way of going about selling my B7 A4 wheels and tires? Ebay? I want to sell the A4 16" wheels and tires (5 spoke cast alloy), how much should I expect to get for them? What is offset and bolt pattern? I see offsets being 35mm and bolt pattern 5/112 mm. What does that mean?

Post on the classifieds here, on audiworld, and audizine. If they aren't sold then in a week, ebay them. You can probably get 500-600 for them. Why are you selling them?

Jest, man you're quick! I edited my message with a few more questions, can you check them out? I want to sell them because I want to go with bigger wheels, maybe 17" or 18". I would be happy with the 17" avus.

RE: Sell tires

You need to find some wheels that have 5 bolts pattern of 112mm. All wheels will have a bolt pattern. Offset is the difference between the mounting point and the centerline of the wheel.

Do you have snow in the winter? You are not going to want to run aftermarket wheels in the wintertime.

Jest, no snow, I live in Florida! Hence I didn't get the quattro, just FWD. Is yours a quattro?

Yep it's quattro.

RE: Sell tires

So the wheels I need to get must be 5 bolt 112 mm pattern and 35 mm offset correct?

RE: Sell tires

It depends on what wheel you are talking about buying. Pick out a wheel you like and choose a size and then ask what offset it should be.

So the offset is not really dependent of the car? I mean, the only thing thats dependent of the car is the bolt pattern correct? It could be any offset and it would still fit my car.

RE: Sell tires

Well if you have a 9" wide wheel and a large offset, you will have rubbing issues. So you have to adjust accordingly.

Here is a wheel offset calculator to tell you if you are getting wider or not.
