Yeah, but when you guys say it's no good are you talking reliability? or what? I'm sort of a noob saabs
If I were you I'd REALLY REALLY do my homework before buying a Saab.... GM Always ***** up everything they get their noses into and Saab is no exception. Simply because I know it'sowned and now manufactured in GM plants I don;t trust the quality AT ALL!!!! Do your homework!!!!!

The only thing I can say about Saab is that it's a solid ride. Many of my friends havehad them and they are full of problems. ...........and If you think Audis are expensive to fix, you better be sitting down EVERY time you get a maitenance bill. You'll need to go to the dealer or a Specialized Swedish shop which are few and FAR between. Not to mention that even w/ the newer GM produced lines, you won't see ANY redcution in parts or labor. DEFINITELY do your homework. OR JUST KEEP THE AUDI and get a roof rack.
Good Luck!

When I say solid I mean "the feel' of it. Not the dependability. It feels like a tank!

Yea, I was looking into a Saab 9-3 before and asked my neighbor who had one as a company car how it was. He said flat out, "DO NOT BUY ONE" True story, he had taken it into the dealer to get some electrical problem fixed, and on his way out after picking the car up, the radio died on him. I think Saab's have a cool and distinct look but other than that, super unreliable.

Lol of course buy one! They are born from jets!!!! GM does a good job at building decent cars. I would take a chevy car over a ford any day, and maybe 50 50 on a truck. Think of it this way. American cars pretty much have no style, with some exceptions. GM owns Saab. Who does Audi own... Lambo! Shizam. Buy something else please. But in worst case, get a saab, keep the economy going

Well I found out the that the only difference between in the saab 9000 is that gm just upgraded the transmission and slightly changed the body. No other differences, but someone offered me a volvo s60 for my car and I'm gonna try to see what those are all about.
