Default Shaving emblems

I want to shave the emblems off my trunk. Just the a4 and the 2.8 quattro on the other side. Has anyone done this? I did it to my brothers car and the only problem was that when they were removed you could still see the outline of the emblems. Does anyone know how to get rid of these outlines?

it's called debadging, and it's been done many a times. Search for it first...

claybar the area, it is oxidation that has dulled your car's paint, a claybar helps restore that and wet sanding can also help, but you can sand right though your paint if you are not careful
