i see that borla is 2.25inches but i want to go 2.5inches with the custom exhaust. borla is on sale on awe and approx. 700 shipped to my door. but is 2.5 inches good? only reason i didnt like 2.25inches was its the same size as the stock one i believe any suggestions>?

borla is a good exhaust for our cars for 700 bucks but, u can go to autospeedperformance.com and have them make u a custom exhaust for 800. mine was 900 full 3 inche exhaust with down pipe sounds very very and i mean very good sound like a jet car thats wut everyone tells me it sounds like i haven't heard it yet because i dont let anyone drive my car.

I thought stock was 1.75 ish? other wise it would be tuff
to get any power. If you want sound, i understand borla
is prob the best around, but doesnt come with a dp, correct
me if im wrong. I think Milltek is 2.75 but not sure. I have
FWD = ( and the APR exhaust which is really deep but sort of
sits low in my opinion. You obviously know the bigger the better
but you have to gauge the fact the bigger the louder and i know
2.5 is big enough for me, once it heats up its very deep and amazing.

I really liked my Borla Kit... and if you get it from techtonicstuning its alot cheaper and its actualy a better kit

just remeber when you if you get a custom exhaust. bigger isn't always better. if you go to big you will lose back pressure and your turbo won't stay spooled as long. plus it will ad to problems of your exhaust trying to escape your car.

+1 thats the kit i have. its 2.5" and i donno about u but i had to purchase the d/p sepretly.
Its a great kit tho.

Mine didnt come with a DP and I believe its 2.25 coming off the Cat. What did u guys pay on technicstuning??

I'd recommend the Borla. For the price, quality, and performance, I think its the best out there.
