Hi,

Well, after driving to Tahoe several times this winter in my lowered 2004 a4 quattro, my plastic underbelly shield was totally trashed and tattered, so I've decided to get a metal skid plate.

I've seen reference to the panzer on this forum, but I've also seen the Evolution Thor on the web as well. Has anyone compared the two yet? It looks like the Thor is a little thicker and weighs 16 lb vs panzer's 12, and the Thor has these little wings so maybe it covers more area, but since it's 'one size fits all' A4's and A6's maybe the panzer would be easier to install.

I'll buy one or the other in the next few days. They both cost around $250.

Anybody want to share experience on one or the other?
