RE: Sludge cleaning machine by bilstein
Yeah, its especially bad when we are saving up to buy her a car that doesn't completely suck. When she is driving a piece, its hard to convince her I need to spend more money on mine.

RE: Sludge cleaning machine by bilstein
so i picked up the passat, drove the car a couple of miles, and the oil looks very clean, idles butter smooth ( which can be related to any other number of things) but imo for 50 bucks this is a great deal, i'll have more facts when i pick up the audi and check back on the oil feed line after its been flushed, still so far looks like a great product...
a) you dont have to run the engine with oil thined by solventes aka seafoam b) the flush is pumped in reverse flow, meaning anything stuck an a screen or other parts can be pumped out c) i was assured the solvents do no damage to the internals, and a thin lubricant film is left for the seconds it take the oil pump to take oil thry the whole engine imo seafoam and others are great products, but for 50 incl labor i dont think you can beat this i'll post back when i see how it did with the audi's oil line btw, get ur wife another audi, maybe she'll catch the mod bug.... then again, most likeley not..[&o] |

I love this forum sometimes. Nobody listens to good sound advice. Everyone rides on the most popular opinion. Seafoam in your crankcase doesn't do jack shit. It's a harsh solvent guys. For the fuel system and upper cylinders its ok but for the crankcase it's not a very good idea.

RE: Sludge cleaning machine by bilstein
sure, i know yoou only run it for a short time,, my point is that still this theoretically should be better (prolly this is by a small margin thou), you dont have to run thin oil, not even for 500 miles, and just overall, this looks like a more engeneered solution to sludge cleaning, this is not like some ebay guy is trying to sell some made up palstic oil flushing pump, i mean, this is bilstein, as far as their shocks go, theres a night and day differnence between reg shocks and bilsteins xcept for very few other brands, why would they put their brand in this if it wasnt any good? its not like its overpriced. i dunno bout seafoam, ive heard a lot of good things bout it and very few bad, i cant tell, but if a reputable company is willing to come up to customers and say, we've come up with this, weve been in business a looooong time, we worked years to disign this machine and its solvents, we know german engeniering because we are german engieneers, why not give them a shot? if this is as good as they say it is, and i'm willing to try it on my own car, it could prolly help us forget bout sludge and enjoy the 1.8t even more

For 50 bucks, give it a try.
Sounds like you are in for a new turbo. this time, change the oil lines to the turbo and make sure that you disconnect the ECU and crank the engine several times so that you don't get a dry start. |
Hello. If you are confronted with the smell of smell of smoke in house. It is worth thinking about how to get rid of it. Removing cigarette smoke requires a lot of patience because the sour smoke leaves tar and resin that sticks to everything inside the house. Years of smoking indoors can cause the smell of smoke to penetrate the drywall. Fortunately, there are many ways to get rid of these unpleasant smells.

My wife is constantly at work, earning money and she has no time for the house at all, when we need general cleaning we hire a cleaning service. It is very convenient, because professionals do general cleaning service move in much better. I like the quality and prices very much, I recommend it.
