How many of you would like to see a regular A4 forum like now (for dumb noob questions) and then a Hardcore tech A4 sub-forum (for K04 swap and BT type questions)

 

you can try a hard core section but I still think people will come where most of the traffic is

 

I have seen it work trust me their is nothing worse than a noob with a jeep (mall wheeler)

 

i think it should stay as is....and i think if you see a post with a noob question you just dont open it and move on. What the hell is the purpose of you opening a thread just to tell someone to use the search? It serves no other purpose than to raise your post count and bask in your supposed superiority, very gay...

 

+1 Leave it the way it is. No matter what you say the noobs will keep coming. Don't forget we were all noobs once, asking the same dumba$$ questions. Its just a forum people, its not like we're discussing life and death issues, though a blown turbo might qualify

Why is this thread sounding like a bunch of spoiled teens whose daddy bought their cars?

Offer some better FAQS on issues that newbies are looking for. You guys have the knowledge and the smarts.

That'll keep everyone from feeling they need to "lower themselves" to having to answer a common (to you) question.

This is the only decent forum I've found.

The other one http://forums.audiworld.com/ is much more of a teen chat room.

becuase we answer the same question all the time. i can copy my answere and post it in 8 different threads that all ask the same thing

 

Maybe one of the admins/mods could make the search button a little more out there so noobs can see it a little better. I remember over a year ago when I came here I didnt spot it right away.

 

general tech is an under used forum that would be great for very technical stuff..
