Default Some B5 issues.

not sure whats wrong with my car but it seems to be acting funny, sometimes i turn it on and drive and it runs really smooth, the gears change nice and i feel power kick in right away, but other times it feels heavy and when i shift i have to push the gas in more than other times, my clutch isnt that old, i got a cold air intake and forge DV and when it runs smooth, when ilet go of the gasi hear the shhhhhh, when it runs crappy i drive and hold the gas and before i shift and let go of the gas i hear the shhhhhh, anybody have an idea of the problem?

do u mean there isn't any CEL or there isn't any fault codes? cause sometimes fault codes are stored without triggering a CEL.

car might just need a tune up. new plugs, fuel filter, fluid flushes, etc...you can also seafoam it to see if that helps

did a tune up not too long ago, when the car runs fine i can hear the turbo spool up really nice, when it runs like crap i can still hear the turbo but not as loud and i have to give it more gas, no CEL and no codes, i have the scanner and shows nothing, not sure if it has anything to do with it but the other day i went over a rugged part of the street and my ABS light turned on then off, could it be a caliper stuck and slowing down my car? as far as the car running good then bad is a daily thing, it changes all the time.

if it were in limp mode, it would be all the time and you would definitely know. a geo metro could probly beat you in a race

hummmm, most of the time it drives crappy, a geo metro probably could beat me, then other times its just too smooth, im guessing i drive my car about 15 times a week and i would say about 13 out of 15 times it drives like crap then all of a sudden it kicks in smooth. ive been trying to trouble shoot the prob but cant figure it out.
