There is about a 3-4 mph difference between the regular speedo and the digital one in the info center in the center of the cluster, which one should I trust? I have found most electrical gauges to be more accurate then the mechanical, so is that true for the speedo too? When I set my cruise at 70 on the regular speedo then I reset the avg. speed on the info center it usually reads 67. Any info on this will be appreciated!

Dont pay attention to the center cluster average speed. Your speedometer is more accurate since it is not constantly calculating averages. Its calculating averages over long periods of time. So if you drove 30mph half the day and then get on the freeway and drive 70mph for the other half of the day, your average speed will be some where inbetween 30 and 70.... Er something like that. I think youre confusing actual speed (speedometer) and average speed (center lcd/cluster).. They should never be the same unless you drive a constant speed ALL the time-which is impossible.

I agree with onetime there to calculate the actual speed its 10%+ 3mph factory standard so if you are going 70mph its - 10% + 3 mph and only a guide
edit: so if your doing 100 mph you are actually doing 93 mph

I thought it would still be doing the math, and you could just either chose to see it or not see it.

when I use my cruise it varries some for hills, up or down, so unless you were on a perfectly flat road then I would say that variance could be normal - Its an average speed, who cares?
