Default spring installation price

does any1 have any idea of how much it would cost to get some new lowering springs installed? and i also heard u have to change the shocks eventually but when? thanks

Do the shocks at the same time. Labor in my area to get it done was $400 and up.

Almost every shop gonna charge you 4 hours of labor, $60-$100/hour.

When I shopped around for spring and shock install prices I got qoutes between $175 and $500. It would be kind of dumb to not do shocks at the same time because you'll just have it back in the shop in a few weeks payin that labor again.

150-200 $ is what my friend got for jus the springs onhis mr2 but then again its a jap car ezier to werk on but it shouldn't take them very long

My coilover install was a 3 day process. lol, in all fairness, it was probably a total of like 10 hours... MUCH of that those two devil bolts, that bind the knuckle that holds your upper control arms up front.

I should show the pic of the one bolt... Drilled to hell -- was the only way to get it out.

well $hit id have the money for shocks too but maybe i can get some extra cash but idk, and i want a new suspension kit soon cuz im gettin a little scared when i speed

my friend that has a jetta wants to know if he would also have to change his shocks if he got new springs
