If its only happened one time, I wouldn't do sh*t to the car.

Plus its new, so If you do have problems, take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

I wouldnt worry unless it starts happening more frequently.

 

+10^^ but it sounds like a vacuum issue ( even new cars go bad )

 

It's actually a 2002 B6 so no longer covered under warranty.

I think I let it ride unless it happens again.

I see, you did say 2002. Still, unless it does it again, I wouldn't worry.

A dirty throttle body can cause that. Get in there with a toothbrush and clean it out, just dont set it next to the sink when you are done.
