Is this still safe
Hey guys in new here.
Just bought my first a4 yesturday. The car drives really well. Motor is strong and car drives perfectlly straight. THere are just a few little thing that need to be fixed but nothing to major.
Here is what in wondering.
When i bought i knew it had been in a accident. Didnt appear to be to major. THey had reused the same hood, and passenger fender.
They replaced the bumper and drivers fender. THe bumper support where it mount to the frame had been slightlky damaged, you can see where they had to straighten it out a bit. Every thing on the outside matches up very. most of the gaps look original.
But heres the question, on the dash it has one vin number, but up near the fire, in the middle of that panel it has a different vin number.
THe car doesnt appear to have been "clipped" in the front. But also where the divider(where the vin is) the glue that holds it to the strut tower is starting to spererate. A gap is forming on both sides of that piece. How safe is that and can i fix that, or should i get rid of the car? if anyone want a pic of it let me know and ill post one.
THank you Brian
