Hay im trying to find how much straight pipes would cost on a b7 3.2 or a b6 s4. my friend has a mustang with straight pipes but he forgot how much it was and plus who knows if an american car would have anything the same price as a nice german machine.

any exhaust shop could do it for pretty cheap. all they gotta do is bend the pipe in a few spots and weld it together

No, it's not. It sounds wicked good on the V6's and V8's.

 

yeah, if i take off my muffler on my 1.8t it sounds awesome for a couple minutes, then gets really annoying. but on that v8 i would never get tired of it

 

Back in the day, I had a Towncar with the 5.0 in it. I ran straight pipes till I had to get it inspected, and it sounded amazing. Of course, it was slow as hell since it weighed one million pounds, and then when I put the cats and mufflers back on, it still didn't pass emissions.

 

lol i cut my exhaust off at the headers on my 5.0 mustang. i WISH my a4 would sound like that
