Stupid heated seats question

Only my butt gets warm, not my back. In my moms old '0 Passat both worked...is mine busted? O and it seems really weak, even on 6. Thanks guys.

Probably some of the wires are snapped. Happens over the years esp if someone kneels on the seats. Probably not worth the cost of fixing.

Yeah I had a quote on my old car for them to take up the seat covers. It's apparently a large deal to remove all the "hog ties" on the seat. Costs a bit of money.
