I will be putting my A4 away for the winter very soon and i"m looking to do some mods over the winter the Turbo kit I am looking at is tyhe super k04 by nuespeed is anyone using this kit or know anyone that is it is just the cheaper kit out of all of them i know that it is a hybrid turbo not ball bearing so it is not going to make as much power but i'm also not looking for a low 12's A4

Also looking to put shocks in i think I killed my stock one when i just put the springs in thee not making any noise just the ride is kinda shitty the to shocks I am looking at are the Koni yellos that are adjustable but from what i've read the bilsten sports is what most people are using any ideas ?

The super KO4 kot is a good kit. just dont buy the exhaust manifold. send your to SlimChriz and have him port and polish it for $80 instead of buying a P&P manifold for $650

 

i just talked to my supplier and they told me that i can not buy that kit that year with out the manifold sounds like a good deal if i could get the kit with out it but the kit is around 3600 canadian i looked on ebay and seen a few different k04's just the turbo's selling for around 850 us thinking about getting that then giving my manifold to slimchriz and i would have to get the chip for the k04 but do u need to buy injectors

 

hey, i was reading and i heard they dont make the sk04 anymore, because it couldnt make the power they advertised... id go elsewhere... i think it made like 186hp at the wheels...

 

Really i will have to read up about this my supplier told me its like 215 at the wheels

 

just go with the plain jane KO4. thats what i am currently using and i am very pleased with its performance. its not produceing 360HP to the wheels like my last setup was but its good for getting around town

thats what im saying, they claimed 215 or so at the wheels, but only 186 i think made it to the ground...

 

What mods do i have right now; or what mods did i have to run a 12.5?

Personally i like peicing together kits, its fun and you can buy one part at a time.

 

The AWE kit is good, $1700 gets you K04 turbo, all the gaskets and hardware, new spark plugs, 5 bar FPR and GIAC software. Or like David _K said piece it together, NGP sells the K04 turbo the cheapest for $750.
