Default T28 turbo upgrade

I am about to purchase an 99.5 A4 1.8t and heard that a T28 is a good upgrade. I currently own a SE-R which I was going to put a T28 onto so I still have the OEM nissan T28. Will I be able to keep the T28 and use it to upgrade the turbo on the 1.8t? It has a T2 flange on it and is made by garret.

NIssan has a car with a T28? The audi manifold has a KO3 flange on it.

The turbo comes stock on a Japanese Domestic Market Pulsar GTiR (SR20DET), which happens to also be AWD. I have a Sentra SE-R which comes with a FWD SR20DE, so the turbo manifold, turbo, etc. just bolt on. Anyways, I have seen that a T28 upgrade kit is a good way to get power, but what manifold is used in these kits. Would I be able to piece together my own kit or should I just sell the turbo along with my other parts and go for a K04-015?

BTW, I am hoping to have a low 14/ high 13 second A4. Is this easily attained?

Yeah, I'd say your goal of times can be attained. David_K is running in the 12's, he's got a great story to tell as far as his modifications go. PM him if you get a chance.

What would it take to get into the low 14s?

You might be able to do 14's with only a chip and the K03. Chip and the K04 would easily do that and then some. You're right trailboss, money, money, money!

Yea, id say a K04 with proper software (giac is in the process of makin a chip to run with 310cc injectors) high flow exhaust is almost a necesity with a K04 to help with the turbo lag. A Front mount intercooler will help you keep your temps down. Something else to think about if you do all that is the clutch. Along with the small simple things that will help like a short shifter, snub mount, air filter. With all that, id say in nice non humid weather, a low 14 possibly a high 13 could be squezzed out depending on what you do.
