ecuase dbw wont work with 034efi standalone. companies wont make a standalone work with it becuase they dont want the responsibilty of your tb being stuck in open throttle

 

get an s4 they can make 500whp pretty easily

When was the last time u saw an s4 ith 500whp. Its def not easy. jeff u can do a dbc conversion also.

O and I have/had a t3/t4 but i wont begin to list the problems

 

ya i thought about that but if im going to do a new turbo then everything is going to be replaced so i thought i would start off with a stock car and then build it the way i want it

 

The s4 is an option, if you are willing to spend upwards of 10-15 grand. A friend of mine has the awe stgIII + kit making like 485whp on race gas, but I think it can be done on an a4 for half the price .....not to mention, the car will be half the price.

 

Are you gonna keep the 1.8 bottom end or are you gonna up the displacement? 600whp will be hard to use on a 1.8L.

May I suggest an old 20v I-5 bored/stroked (I dunno what those guys favor) with a giant GT35 or 42 or something?

 

yes i will keep the bottom end and it will still be a 1.8. you can make that much hp on a 1.8 if the turbo is large enough on a built motor

 

well it was about 2 months ago and he sells drugs from what im told so with the money he makes, its easy for him. for some1 like jeff, he could achieve 400whp with a little bit of work

 

but i know for a fact that it was whp and not chp.
