how????? i took out blu plug and i feel with my cans there is like around the senor but i cant take it out??

it should be that hard its just a long c-clip, stick a flat screwdriver and pry, it take some force to pull out the sensor though since its in there pretty good.

 

i took mine out a few days ago on my 01 1.8t and after pulled the clip off i had to pull pretty firmly to get it out. it was in there pretty good. unfortunately the one i pulled out was blue and the one i was given to replace it with is green.

 

haha it was hard to get out cuz ur reservoir cap was still on. if u open the cap a bit u wouldn't even have to do any work on pulling it out.

yeah thats what i did too. i released the pressure by opening the reservoir cap, but the sensor was still stuck in there good so just pull a lil harder

 

I bet you got one of the ones where the clip is on the side facing the block. Kinda a pain to get that one out. Theres barely enough room between the head and the flange to rotate the clip out.
