anything I should look for when I got to test drive an a4??

I have only owned Hondas so this is all new to me

 

Another major problem in 96-01 A4's is the control arms. There are 4 on each side I believe(front wheel well). Expect to replace these early, too. About $1000 for the repairs on these. I just bought my 99 A4 about 1 month ago and they were already BRAND NEW. Just look and see if they were replaced.

 

the obvious things door dings, the leather, my pet peeve is the engine clean, when you pull up the guy doesnt have jumper cables attached to the battrery,
just look for common thing.
