I've actually been thinking about doing this for quite sometime now... seeing as how the cat is the most restrictive part. It be alot cheaper to just get a test-pipe and throw in a muffler in rear.

After looking at some of the pictures it looks faily easier than it sounds. Probably hell of alot easier with 2-people.
Can you tell me what the deal is with the "drilling part" from your picurres everything looks plug and play.

But the DIY on this site (the pictures got lost/the guy doesnt have comcast anymore because thats were they were hosted)

Taken from DIY on this forum

"What you have to do is drill out the inside of the top part, so the o2 sensor can fit. ONLY DO THIS TO ONE OF THE NON-FOULERS
side by side comparison of drilled out nonfouler and original "

There is no difference between a test pipe for a manual or auto. There is just less room to work with in a tip car because the tranny is wider at the bottom part of the DP tunnel. It just makes it harder to get good angles at the DP/CAT boltswith your socket wrench extensions, etc. I dont think having two people would make a big difference.
