hey guys did the testpipe help you keep your boost from dying down in the higher rpms cause it seems like my boost falls off too bad and i have the giac chip but i just want to know whe your boost goes down and how much it goes down to?
thats just the way GIAC is. great power down low but falls off towards the end. if you want moderate power in the low end and boost all the way to redline then switch to APR. but you also have to remember its only a k03. k03 and high end power should not be used in the same sentence.

ko3 will run out a breath because at higher rmps your motor is sucking in more air then the ko3 turbo can produce, hence your boost drop off

1.8T,

Great thread to read through....thanks for posting your experiences.

Small tribute to your hard work......
I especially like "To call them "**** bolts" is an extreme understatement. They are mother ****ing *** crunching evil sons of bitches from far down in the depths of hell." lol, every time I read this I crack up.

When you stop aching, will you be ready to help me install a TP on my tip tanny? JK, all your pain made me realize I'd rather pay someone to take this type of work on......as much as I want to know how to DIY.

Did I miss the video post or are you still working on that?

i can recall the time that i installed my testpipe. such a bitch, wow was that ever a bitch. but it felt to good to tighten those last few bolts and start her up..i love the deep growl she gives off now

and jason, you should have started the car with the turbo open. it sounds awesome
