Default Things I could add to a new A4 1.8t? Help!

Hey guys!

I recently bought a silver A4 1.8t. I am wondering where I could find a nice body kit or accessory to add to the car to make it more sporty. It has the sports package but I want it to look a tad more fun. Please help. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Canes6!!
You can find a lot of information on mods here, just use the search feature if you know what to look for(ie. body kit). But...to get ya rolling, here is a little somethin somethin.

For some body kit info you could check out www.lltek.com
Not sure if they are the best prices but it'll give ya an idea of what to look for.

Also check out www.a4stuff.com and www.neuspeed.com
They have boost gauges, shifters, pedals..etc.

With the sports suspension, adding new wheels and tires will help the look a lot(or so Jestnomen and others here have been spouting).

Don't know what year you have but you could try looking at clear corners and side markers. They make the car look a bit cleaner (imo) and they're very affordable.

Good luck with it! Let us know how it goes!

Thank you very much. I have a 2004 A4 with the sports package, 17inch tires and I am about to add a spoiler from www.spoilerdepot.com -- its the lip one.

You are right, the clear markers should make it look nice! I will search around for them. Possibly EBAY? Or one of the stores you recommended.

The car is at the dealer right now, it had a faulty sim card for the transmission so I am driving a chick magnet right now...a Ford Taurus!

Thanks for your help!

I'm new myself, but along with the chip you could go w/ a front mount intercooler, it not only helps in the performnce area, but def gives your audi a sportier look with it stickin to your front end. If you have the money some new rims such as the BBS RXII in a 18x8.5

FMIC is not going to help you unless you run your car hard. It does not increase performance, it simply prevents performance from degradating by not allowing the car to overheat as much during hard driving. There are many many mods that are more worthwhile to a new owner.

Looks - yes, it looks mean as hell with that hangin down the lip of the car

I'm not trying to be rude, but i've had 1.8t's in the past and put fmic's on them and onthe dyno seen a 10- 15hp gain. However you're right in that it minimizes heatsink therefore minimizing horspower loss when running the car hard.

Chip your ECU

Get a short shifter kit

Lower your suspension

Buy european clear projector headlights (ecodes)

S4 bumper/sideskirts

Rs4 bumper

Here's what the Audi B5 body can be!
