So I come across this 2000 a4(1.8t) with 157,xxx miles for $3,500...only set back really is a few dings and scratches and his has a CEL with is a cylinder #3 misfire(what the guy told me)...I was curious if you guys knew what it might be? I haven't looked at it or driven it yet but I just don't want it to be a big hassle to clear the code. He said it starts up fine and drives fine...any input? Thanks!

 

Coil or plug would be my guess w/o seeing it. But I'd swap 3 to another spot and see if it moves if so coil if not do same to plug. If not injector. If not coil harness. First 4 things I'd try

 

How much would a new coil run? Any place online to buy discounted oem Audi parts? What plugs would you run? I've ran Ngk in all my other cars
