Here's a link detailing a TRE replacement gone awry...I think OnePoint8tee's head was about to explode. Not exactlya walkthrough, but it has some good background and pictures. Wish I could be more helpful, but i've never done a replacement, so I'm not very knowledgeable.

And in general, I don't understand people bagging on noobs for ressurecting old threads (I'm not saying you did akielb, since you're clearly trying to help). Either they reply to an old thread and get yelled at, or theystart anew thread andget yelled at for not searching. Catch 22. Oh well...

My thought is - new topic, new thread - he added onto a "how to I start the process" thread with a "I funked everything up now help me post" - I think he would have received more help by starting a new thread called "TRE install problems" or something like that. I see your point and I have no problem with, anyone in fact, resurrecting an old thread if they have the same problem or a new solution - I've just seen a lot of "noobs" come on here and they aren't paying attention to how old the thread was when they start adding in there two cents(sbranst I'm not saying you did this). I'm not arguing just clarifying my stance.
Good luck
