Tinted tails
I did a search and found a good thread on how to do it yourself... (ive painted headlight housing before so i assumed its the same way)
but does any1 have some good pics of tinted tails on an 01' Blue A4? Also do they sell tinted ones or is it like a do it urself only type of deal? |
RE: Tinted tails
Someone on here did a DIY smoked tail conversion so hopefully they'll chime in. If you don't feel confident with your abilities you can get them from LLTek. As far as pictures go, Panda will probably post some cuz he has pictures like mad, so wait for it. LoL

RE: Tinted tails
PM bentframe he did them on his 96. I believe he took them off and sold them. But yes it is the same process as the headlights.

RE: Tinted tails
u can DIY with vht nite shades (name of the tint) I used it on my BMW to paint the top of the tail light to get rid of the amber and make it black to make it blend in with the body of my car
heres a pic http://home.comcast.net/~kdog2112/e34.html heres a link to buy vht - awesome stuff - jsut take off and mask off what you dont want to paint http://www.autocarparts.com/part/list/1291/ |
