Hello, im having problems with my shifter. right now its very lose n when i took the shifter cover off it looks like the arm that goes from the shifter to the tranny its lose or broken, so the whole thing moves instead of just the shifter itself. im wondering if maybe a bolt busted or whatever holds that arm in place broke. if some one can help please do. i want to have an idea before i get under the car cause i dont know what im looking for. thanks , Edward.

 

time to put in a short shifter !

 

or get new bushings for it

 

It could be missing bolts or worn shifter bearings.
