I have a '03 1.8t with tip, and I have noticed that my trip computer is acting up. For avg mpg it reads 14-16mpg when it read 26 like 4 days ago. The avg mph never goes above 20-25mph even though I'm travelling 80 on the turnpike. The current mpg fluctuates crazily from 14mpg to 200mpg! Do you guys think the trip computer is messed up or could there be other problems? Thanks for input!

 

It depends on how you drive etc. Mine does that too.
