tune up
Kind of a newbie question here: My B5 A4 just hit 42k (I bought it pre-owned at about 39k) so I'm thinking of giving it a bit of a 40k checkup/tuneup. I'm assuming that it was looked over pretty good during the Cert. Pre-owned inspection, but I'm planning on changing out the spark plugs, maybe the fuel filter. I just changed the oil and it's getting a fresh set of tires. I'm planning on grabbing a Hayes manual tomorrow, but I was cruious if there is anything else I should check out/consider changing?
You dont need to change the fuel filter yet - thats good for another 20-30k unless you are actually having accelleration problems. Take a look at the air filter, and check you fluids (power steering, brakes).
