I was wondering if anyone know's if anyone makes a turbo charger for a 98 audi a4 2.8 quattro 30valve? I really would like too find one.

 

Not really. If you want boost, get a supercharger for $5k new ($3500 used?).

There have been some half a$$ed attempts at putting a turbo on a 2.8 but its really not the way to go. Since there isn't room up front, they do a remote mount (outside the engine bay) which pretty much kills the turbo effect since its too far away from the engine.

Supercharger or dump your 2.8 and buy a 1.8T. Those are your best options.

Thanks...Yea that makes alot of sense. I may buy a super for it although i could just sell the 2.8 and buy a 1.8 put the ko4 kit on chip it excedra. Infact I may just buy a 1.8 thanks man.

Haha, I'll take his place for the time being. Don't get me wrong the 1.8t is a great car and as we all know has much more room to mod, but there is just something about a supercharged 2.8 that gets my blood flowing. Plus no waiting for the thing to spool. I'll leave the rest to ateurv8...

 

yes true but once the bt starts to spool your day is over. so you have the lead for part of 1st gear.
