Default turbo/mainfold issues

the long bolts that connect tmy manifold to my turbo unit keeps loosening when i drive, no matter how much i tighten them. i even used tread lock, and the same problem. its just getting so hot that it expands. any one have any ideas on what is going on, and how to fix it?

thanks

Mix up some cement and put some around the top so that you can get to it easily. Then if you want it back off take chizzel and chizzel the little bit of cement off. Thats a sure way to make them stay on if thread lock wont work, but its pita.

I'm guessing you have loosened them for one reason or another. If you have loosened them and then tightened them again, that's probably why they won't stay tight. If you loosen them for any reason, replace them (nuts and bolts).

and putting a spot weld is not a bad idea. but youve tried that red thread locker? but a **** load on the threads. cement will crack with the expanding and all.

where did you guys pick up your new turbo hardware? i had to go to the hardware store and match them as close as possible.

thanks a lot for the advice guys.....i initially bought my hardware at an autozone, where they can match the threads and stuff....but those are the ones that expanded and loosened up. so i went to the dealer and got the bolts there. theyre a bit expensive (about $7 a bolt) but they are heat resistant and should do the job...i only hope!

ECStuning.com its called the K04 hardware kit and seeing as the k04 and the k03 use the same hardware you can use it for that too
