Well said doose, Almost all my cash has gone under the hood of my car, with some small exteior mods, My feeling with bodykits is there going to slow me down so heck with them, unless you have a b6 and you need to help the look of your car.

yeah i assume its quite a bit harder to install on a OBD2 audi than a little obd1(standard key too) civic. i just soldered mine to the back of the ignition, basically it keeps the circuts connected back there until the timer opens the circit, then it turns off. do they make wiring harness kits for these cars? they didn't on my civic but i know they do for some turbo cars.

audiboy, my civic ran a best of only 13.9 on some shitty tires(lol try 2.5 60 ft times!!) on the old engine, now it has a bigger engine (1.6 up to a 1.8) so its got gobs of torque but even less use for it(tires). oh im also racing at about 5000ft elevation, so that slows ya down a bit. on a dyno in denver(approx 5,300 ft) it made 188 hp and 164 ft lbs at the wheels, they projected(i hate projections tho) the corrected for elevation HP to be 230 and 199 ft lbs, at the wheels at sea level.

let me say one more time, yes the oil and yes the turbo gets hot on an audi, but not hot enough to allow the oil to coke, which is the primary goal of the turbo timer; to allow time for the oil to flow and cool so as not to coke. but ya, let it sit when you get done driving, cant hurt and it'll at LEAST make you feel better.

That's what a TT is all about..peace of mind.

No greenday..absolutely no freaking harness! Damn would that be slick if someone could make a harness for these bad oscars..but I don't think that's gonna happen..(or even possible..car pretty much has to come with some kind of interface already).

Not bad on the civic ponies. Prolly pretty nice if you don't spin for 1.3 seconds before going anywhere. Those cars are way to lite and FWD. I remember when I had my corolla wagon, I could light them up on any pavement cuz the car was just too damn lite. FWD with like 96horse or something like that..it was pathetic...especially in the snow.
