Default Turbo timers?

Is anybody out there running turbo timers in there a4's? If so what set up do you have and where do you have it mounted. I'm thinking of installing one in my car cause I'm tired of sitting in my car for a little while after I pull over. People are starting to think I'm a weirdo. Also I run about 21psi and it has been recomended to me a few times to get one becuase of the high boost. I really want one that looks good with the interior of my car in regards to the lighting and the install. I hate when people do crappy installs. If anybody has pics of there TT's installed I would love to see them. thanks in advance.

I had the apexi on my last car and it was small and worked great. You can stick it in the cluster or anywhere else out of the way. But if you take it easy the last couple mins of your trip, you dont need to let it idle for more than about 10secs. Highway miles dont add heat, just in boost does fyi.

That's kinda what I figured. I was thinking about taking it to the track someday soon since I have the program for it from giac. just need to get diff. wheels. Thought then tt would be a good idea after a hard run. do you have any pics of your cincy?

It was in my turbo lancer, that was before i started taking pics for forums.... sorry. But it was stuck in my gauge cluster under my tach where i could see it. It has a setting to where it reads how hard you drive and adjust time accordingly. Most times it would go up to 1 or 2 mins, but by the time i stopped, it would be all the way back down at 10secs.

sounds cool. I was thinking about mounting mine where the card holder is on the dash or next to the e brake where that little pocket is. you can't really fit anything but a small cell phone in that pocke anyway.

the apexi is like 1/2" x 5" x 1/4". it should fit just about anywhere.

Your not a smoker! lol what do you use your ash tray for? That could be a clean spot. That way it could be hidden too! TT are always good just think of it as PM for the turbo.
