Turbo Trouble
 

I've got a B6 chipped Turbo Quattro (2003). It performed well with the APR Stage II mods. Now it seems the waste gate is opening prematural causing the Revs to go up without any additional power. Happens at higher RPM, like on an on-ramp to an express-way. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would check all the vacuum hoses to the turbo to make sure non have cracks or holes. Espically check the hose to the DV. It has a tendency to crack apart inside the outer sleve.

that sounds more like clutch slippage. You need a boost gauge to see if you have a boost/vac problem

yeah I started boosting 19psi in my B5 and on highway low rpms I can nail it to 19psi and the rev go up about 500rpm then grab STUPID CLUTCH yeah so till next year im having issues with clutch. you can really tell if its clutch if you can nail it going through 2nd and 3rd becasue it will start slipping in 2nd and heat the clutch up so much when you go into 3rd its like you missed the gear (try not doing this but only as a test dont want any disc cracking on you)
