Latest news!

Due to some technical difficulties, I was unable to fufill the 2 hour deadline. So here's a story while I wait for the coolant level to drop.

Had everything on, oil refilled, and in the process of filling the coolant. I did a quick leak check, and saw coolant on the driveway. Not a lot, but it was a steady drip. After I recouperated from my heart attack, I called my neighbor over to help me figure out where it was coming from. I was that it was dripping off the side of the AC compressor, but nothing was dripping anywhere. The only thing above the compressor is the turbo and it was sealed tight. I couldn't simply feel my way to the source since I'm not exactly skinny and my arm couldn't reach. After a brief F bomb session, I saw that it was coming from the coolant port on the block.

So I ripped out everything from the air filter to the turbo. Fortunately, I planned ahead an made the hose clamp accessible from the front of the engine. Not a lot of room, but enough to tighten the ****** down. My neighbor had a look on his face like I just had sex with his mother. I asked him what was wrong and he just said, "I have never seen anyone work that fast. Ever."

Everything is installed now. So here's some pics.

yea that heat shield is the best i've seen yet...

i think im gonna design a cold air kit that allows you to run an silicone intake tube with an atermarket cone filter, that works with bt's and actually seals heat out, and takes in cold air from the fender...

then imma make millions, and by an s4 and put that new gt25r kit on it... and use my intake... somehow...

you heard it here first!

btw... how did you end up solving the manifold bolt problem?
