turn off the car then on AIR BAG LIGHT?

Default turn off the car then on AIR BAG LIGHT?
my airbag light poped up any ideas why?

Bad sensors... Usally this happens when you move seat. Clean them out & get a vag-com clear codes u should be all good after that.

mine's been on forever, the airbag will still function properly correct?

Maybe maybe not. Usually the problem is just a bad connection.
