Default Turn signal not working

So I did a search on turn signals and them not working, but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

So all the sudden when I was driving around yesterday I tried to put on my turn signal and it seems messed up. Sometimes it will click once, then just stop... and sometimes it will go like 3 times then like skip a beat and click again, or sometimes it will go for like 5 clicks then go off. I put on my hazards and they work fine... its just when I try to turn. Help please?

Your relay is shot. It needs to be swapped out. It's not that hard, it's part of the hazard switch in the middle of the dashboard

Agree, sounds like the relay.

Mine went two days after I got my car. I ended up replacing it myself, rather than taking it to the dealer and having it serviced under waranty. I love working on my cars and, even though this is small, I was totally like "Yay! something to fix!"

One bit of advice, though, in the step to actually remove the relay, using one of those small hooks to pull it out is no good. The relay is really jammed in there and I had to use a pair of hooked needle nose pliers to grab it and really yank it out of there. But, don't keep pulling hard when it comes free, you don't want to damage the wiring harness.

a procession of the mind in all counts ( we strive to figure out what happens tomorrow ) because we all know the past but if your a thinker tomorrow will happen for the future born and not for your eyes

yeah so its pretty much shot now... I can hardly get it to turn even once now. I think I'm just going to have it fixed up here, its really hard to get parts in where I live.

how much do you think labor and all will run me?

The main thing that stops me from doing it myself is that I don't have the actual part, and I need it asap so I don't get pulled over, and that I don't have those super poky things to take it out with... besides that I think I could do it.
