Ive got the armrest peel and I hate it! I went to an upholsterer and he told me it was a lost cause and the dealer tried to charge me 115$ (maybe for my b-day?)...besides that i have a 98 1.8 and I have wood trim.....

 

ehh that's tha old model a4's. tha new ones come w/ real leather and woodtrim dash or that silver dash. it doesnt matter if u get tha 2.0 or w/e. except tha S-line, you cant get woodgrain dash, but it comes w/ real leather.

If you buy a brand new car, meaning you order it, you can get whatever options you'd like to have.

 

I love my leatherette and aluminum trim, looks more modern. FYI, teh wood isn't real wood, either. So you get fake leather + real aluminum (i think) or real leather + fake wood.

 

Yea I cant afford that. Does anyone know for sure what year started the real leaather and wood trim in the a4 1.8?
