I don't suggest you put winter tires on your 18's. For snow and ice you want a tire with a larger side wall and lower air pressure, 16's would work best. In the snow the tires will compress and "cushion" a bit more with a larger contact patch, hence more traction.

omfg more snow please. i feel like i have rear wheel drive on dry pavement. there is nothing better than quattro in the snow.
Lighter than a huge *** truck, and all four wheels still spin. I feel like im in a off-road rally when im mashing down the backroads sliding around corners.
It seriously is orgasmic i highly recommend winter tires and quattro for a recreational activity. The sickest part is mashing it in 2nd and spinning all four tires
and hearing your turbo scream like a million babies.

p.s ABSOLUTLEY ZERO TURBO LAG.......pwnd?

Yeah definitly take the time to get rim/tire swaps.. although we recently had sleet/ice/snow and my car handled very well. I live in Dallas, TX though so.. Im sticking with summer tires no matter what. We typically only get sleet if it rains, its gonna be cold either way but my tires seem to handle that fine

See that dude? Even some kid from Texas is advising you to get snow tires

Looks like the weather blowing through right now is worse than I had anticipated. I'm sure that if you've driven your car in that crap, you know what I'm talking about. Good luck with your winter rubber!

Anybody hear from chiropaul. In some places around chicago we go 12 inches. I think we got at least 3 or 4 no matter where you were at. Quattro is definatly no replacement for all season tires.
