Upgrading to the factory 17" rims

Hi,

I have a 2003 AUDI A4 with the 16" rims and I'm thinking on upgrading to the 17"s. Do I need to change my springs for this so the gap size would be equal to the original A4 with the stock 17s ? If so, which springs should I get? Please help, thanks in advance.

Hi primlov, welcome to the forum. You don't HAVE to upgrade springs/shocks, but it is a good idea. When you put on 17" wheels the gap will look more pronounced than it did before.

As for lowering your car, there are a lot of options. What is your budget?

Hi Justnomen,

My budget for the whole thing is under $1000, you think I could do this? 17" rims +tires and springs...

awol,

I don't know what I'll do with them.... I might sell them if I get my 17" rims x5. Why, would you be interested?
