Vacuum line question?

I am planning to change the braided vacuum line that is on the front of the intake manifold that then travels down the front of the engine, I have not been able to see where it goes yet. It looks like this is the only braided line on the car , the others all look like rubber vacuum lines. I have code p1136 . I cleaned the MAFS . I plan to order a new one. But wanted to check this vacuum line too. I cleaered the p1136 code after cleaning the mafs , now it came back with p1136 pending. Will this vacuum line help, what other vacuum lines should be checked? Pictures would help. I also have a new diverter valve to put in, not sure if I need one but I have it, it looks easy, any advice?
Thanks

Im pretty sure the vaccum line you are talking about goes to the diverter valve. At least that is how mine is on my car. And if you dont have any upgrades, then you dont need a new dv unless yours is bad.

RE: Vacuum line question?

P1136 fuel trim too rich. This is not a vacuum leak. Could be O2 sensor or MAF.

WWW.ECSTUNING.COM sells reman. MAFs for $85.

RE: Vacuum line question?

P1136 is caused by- fuel pressure/pump, injector(s), intake/exhaust leak, AIR system, hose leak, change the pipe and clear the code then see how it goes;)

RE: Vacuum line question?

I changed the braided front vacuum line and the diverter valve, reset the code, drove it about 10 miles code is still clear, not all the ODBII codes have regestired yet, 3 are still flashing but last time I cleared the code after cleaning the mafs the same P1136 code came back as pending when there was 3 flashing codes left. So I am hoping this fixed it, will drive it over the weekend and hope the rest of the system checks run and the OBDII comes out with no codes.

sounds good to me, it will need to run a couple of drive cycles to reset the computer and good luck

I drove it more, check engine light back on, same code. I will need to try changing the MAFS , I ordered one from ecstuning , but they sent me one that does not fit, the one they sent me has rounded corner connecters mine is square at the corners, and the connecter goes in differant direction, guess ahve to call them and hope they will send me the correct MAFs.
