If i remove my resonator and put a stright pipe in its place on my stock 1.8T exhaust will my car bog up hill? i wanna get it removed tommorow but some peeople are telling me my cars gonna bog up hill and all that... is this true? thanks

RE: Very quick resonator question
I have never heard of that. If anything it should run smoother and cooler due to the resonator being removed and the air flow being more "free".

RE: Very quick resonator question
with that chip and that magnaflow muffler (if you have it) you should be fine. The exhaust should sound better as well

RE: Very quick resonator question
Removing the resonator on the stock car will not improve power. The resonator does not have restriction.

RE: Very quick resonator question
I had mine removed a few months ago and see NO problems going up hills, doing donuts or just taking off. ;)

RE: Very quick resonator question
Though i dont see problems performance wise the drowning on the highway can get a bit annoying.

the dreaded drone/oscillation above 70mph does your head in but saying that Ive heard cars doing that at idle due to big bore exhaust, if that's what you like go for it;)
