we need a s/c 2.8!
I just picked up an s/c for a good deal but have been debating if I should put it on a 113,000 mile engine. I believe I have 9 and 12lb pullies. If I do decide it's going on it'll be in March when I get 1 of my other cars back on the road so I can afford the down time for this one. I'm wondering what 1/4 mile times would be on the car afterwards.

Chances are, if you have an engine in good shape you'll have no problems. I'd maybe do a compression and leak-down test on it, and if that's good and your maintenance has been done appropriately, the engine should be plenty strong to handle it. If it were me, I'd run the 9 lb pulley first and make sure everything is good. If so, step it up. What might be a good investment would be an EGT gauge plumbed into your exhaust stream - this will give you a good idea of how well your injectors are handling the increased load. If they're faltering (whether from being worn out or weak or whatever) it'll lead to elevated exhaust gas temps. EGT is a very good idea on a boosted engine, and it will give you far better info than some crappy, non-wideband air/fuel meter.
It came witheverything, charger, pullies, ecu, injectors, etc. all new never installed. The engine runs great, no smoke or anything so I most likely will put it on. Compression check is first on the list. My Formula will be running low/mid 11's and I know it won't keep up with that but I want it to do fairly well at the track if I decide to run it on 1 of my trips.
Sounds like you're in a prime position to put it on there. I'd still do a leak-down test as well - a good euro shop can probably do one for you for about an hour's labor. It'd be smart to do, just for the added peace of mind. I don't know for sure, but you may want to do a little research into the torque-handling capabilities of the OEM clutch - it may decide to bow out shortly (and possibly dramatically) after you throw another 100+ ft-lbs of torque at it, and if that's the case, better budget for an upgraded clutch as well.
Oh, yeah, already thought of that. I might go with a Southbend, stage3 I believe. The 1st time I tried to take off across traffic really quick, I tried taking off at 3500 rpm and let the clutch out and it slipped like hell. haven't/won't do that again till I get a good clutch.
The Motodyne s/c for the 12 v is/was a pos. People had lots of problems with it and there is/was no customer support, etc. Its still advertised on a website, but if you try to ask them quesitons about it youll get told to "**** off" from what Ive heard.
