i got mine for 22k. and putting a "ricer" motor in a a4 wouldnt be reliable. and im sure the a evo motor will produce enough power on a stock turbo so satisfy most a4 drivers.

the fact that your taking a motor from one car to another in it self would make it less reliable then leaving it alone

ok if you keep teh motor in the car that its meant to be in it will be more reliable then messing around and moving to to another car. its just simple if you leave it stock its more reliable. you cant argue with that

What exactly is the point of stripping the A4 anyway? The car is generally heavy and a luxury vehicle. The engine is ok, but its not any kind of high revving power monster. You are going to strip out all of this stuff from the interior and upgrade the engine and still only get a car that is as fast as some relatively cheap stock cars (EVO/WRX).

If you want to get all ricey and strip a car out, why not start with a lighter car that comes with a cheap cloth interior and few options. You will end up getting a much quicker, better handling car for a lot cheaper. The only thing you would be missing is AWD, but that adds quite a bit of weight and isn't necessary.

If I was going to strip a car out like that, it would be a Honda or something (which would actually prob raise the resale value instead of decrease it like on the Audi).

Just wondering.

TDRILL- TRUE. its all just about doing something different or new.
i love the way the car handles and its pretty comfy too, with the leather intirior and all. just dont like the engine.

JEFF- if you leave the engine stock and make sure everything is correct like fuel pressure from
the stock fuel pump (which a turbo fuel pump should be fine for almost any engine) and its
gettng plenty of air, and spark (which i'd use the stock or better coil anyways)
then it will run just fine. just gotta make sure the mounting is correct. thats the hard part.

stop fighting it dude. just let it happen.... just let it happen. "go to sleep, go to sleep" haha.jk
