Defintely will try to take a look at the resonator or muffler when i do my next oil change. Or i might just jack up the car myself and take a look at it.

 

its probably wind noise. does is get louder when you go faster? or does it get louder when you open the throttle up more? it could be your weather stripping

i get a similar noise too, but mine comes from the middle of the dash, comes and goes

 

today (in the morning) i could hear the noise more clearly. It seems likes its comming from the rear-ride passenger side. Like i said before its a WHHHOOOOOOOOO sound, not an OWL whoooooo, but like when you have a coke bottle and you blow across the top of the mouth/opening part. But when I rolled down the rear-right side passenger window, i couldnt hear it. I can only hear it when all windows are up and radio is off, so hear it from inside the car. Its louder when the car isnt moving, when the car moves you can hardly hear it. When I let go of the brakes and start rolling the noise startes getting lower. Its not the wheel bearing cause I changed the rear-right side bearing at AUDI about 3 weeks ago. My best guess is is that it is something to do with the exhaust system or brakes, cause I need to replace the pads. I just dont wnat to spend $$$ and find out its not what I think it is.

don't audi's have a ventilation system in the back right side? I remember when I first started my engine, I'd here a little motor rattle from the back right side....
